On Sunday my Mom and I went to the Muela del Diablo (Jaw of the devil). First we took a minibus part of the way, not a taxi the whole way because it would of been Bs 80 and that was too much. Then we got out of La Paz. Soon we saw a grassy hill with a little town. There was a school for about 16 or 19 people. Then we got out of the taxi and started to walk. First we walked past a HUGE HOG or PIG. After the pig we bet about how long it would take to get tot he taxi parked on the other side. I WON! for betting 9 or 10 minutes, but it looked a lot longer. Then the path started upward. Soon we were at the rocky part. We started climbing up the muela. I almost slipped on the loose rocks but I didn't. After the hardest part we set down on a rock and ate a snack. It was fun/scary being up so high but the view was gorgeous.
But going down was the hardest part because it was more slippery and slidy. But that was just the rocky part. When we were all done we had to go down a lllllllllllllooooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggg hhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll! My legs were trembling like jelly. Not lying!
So I would never sit down on the way down, though because I wanted to feel the sweetness of sitting down (in the minibus).
Finally we caught the minibus and we went to Pablo and Dani's house for lunch. And I didn't walk up their mountain that day, I just ate! THE END. Whew!
